Outdoor Adventures for Kids & Families in Clermont, FL
Lake Louisa State Park is a wonderful place for kids to get outside, get curious and make memories with the people they love. These three programs were designed with young explorers in mind, from preschoolers to grade-schoolers, so the whole family can share the adventure.
Cornbread’s Corner
Two hours of hands-on fun for our littlest horse lovers. Kids meet Cornbread and his horse friends, make crafts and learn all about horses. All ages welcome, from $15 per child.
Trail Explorer Adventure
A self-guided treasure hunt along a scenic trail. Kids follow clues to six hidden explorer boxes, collect a small treasure at each stop and earn a completion prize at the end. Go at your own pace; most families take 1 to 3 hours. All ages, $24.99 per person.
Guided Fishing Clinic
A 2-hour beginner fishing program for ages 4 and up. Instructors teach kids how to rig a rod, bait a hook, cast safely and reel in a fish, with a lesson on Florida’s lakes and wildlife. The dock is stroller and wheelchair accessible. $49 for the first child and $19 for each additional child in the same household.

- State park admission ($5 per vehicle) is paid at the park entrance and is not included in any program.
