If the eyes are the window to the soul, horses are our mirror...... They give us exactly what we give to them. Learning to build a thriving partnership with a horse is a life changing experience, no matter your age.
Working with horses allows people of all ages and experience levels to develop physical, mental, and emotional skills. Our program curriculum guides developing students through the fundamental stages of becoming a confident, competent equestrian.
We believe discipline and patience lead to great rewards!
No doubt, riding is fun! However, a lot goes into to making a good ride happen. All around care of the horse, pre-ride grooming, tack care (thats what riding equipment is called) and tacking (putting the equipment on the horse), and post-ride care of the horse and tack are just the basic steps needed to enjoy a ride.
We develop well-rounded equestrians who have the knowledge and skills to handle horses, groom, and prepare for a ride. If you participate in our program, you're going to get your hands dirty!
The foundation of any truly good rider, is a balanced seat. No matter what style of riding or skill level you choose to take your riding goals, putting in the time to develop and maintain a strong, balanced seat is critical.
Our program teach students the foundations of exceptional riding from beginner through advanced-intermediate levels. We offer lessons in English and Western tack. We are not a competition barn, but when and if our students are ready to advance to a competitive level, we provide referrals to trusted trainers in the discipline or style of riding our students are interested in.
