Howey Horse Haven Rescue Ride 7/20/19

Why P3 Lake Louisa Supports Howey Horse Haven

We (obviously) love horses! We aren't able to care for or house horses coming directly from a rescue situation, but that doesn't mean we don't share responsibility as members of the horse community in managing the care and resolution of these poor horses. Many situations, some understandable and some incomprehensible, lead to horses being without a good home. We, at P3 Lake Louisa, believe there is shared responsibility among the horse community at large to sort out these sad and difficult situations.

As one of the most reputable, consistent, and dedicated full-time horse rescues in our community, we have partnered with Howey Horse Haven Rescue to help fund the costly expenses of the good work they do, and support the good hands of the people who do it.

This ride is a fun ride to benefit Howey Horse Haven Rescue, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned, abused, neglected and unwanted horses in our surrounding community. After the small staff required to put on the ride are paid, every other penny will be donated directly to Howey Horse Haven Rescue.

You may join the ride on one of our horses, or one of your own. We have limited space available for people to ride along on one of our well-trained, well-behaved trail horses. Additionally, a second group for people who wish to support Howey Horse Haven, but prefer to ride their own horse will depart on a separate trail, shortly after our trail horses leave the Hitching Post.
